Children’s Story Competition 2024
Yorkshire Festival of Story Children’s Story Competition is back for another year with a brand new theme, new judge and great prizes up for grabs!
The competition this year asks children to write a story of up to 500 words based on the theme of ‘Kindness’. Each child that enters the competition will also receive a learning resource full of helpful tips and advice on how they can write the best story possible. The competition is open now, and applications close on 29th September 2024.
Festival winners will receive their prizes at the festival from competition judge Alex Falase-Koya who is an award-winning author. Alex is the epic writer of the action-packed series, Marv, and co-wrote The Breakfast Club series with Marcus Rashford.
