DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Yorkshire Day with the return of FoML’s Northern Writers Reading events in Marsden Library! \nAmanda Huggins and Sarah Linley \nFriday 30th July\, 7.00 for a 7.30 start. \nFree but get there early to secure your seat\, or reserve a seat here \nAmanda Huggins Amanda Huggins is the author of All Our Squandered Beauty\, which won the 2021 Saboteur Award for Best Novella\, and four collections of short stories and poetry. \nHer most recent short story collection\, Scratched Enamel Heart\, was also shortlisted for a Saboteur Award this year\, and her debut poetry collection\, The Collective Nouns for Birds\, won a Saboteur Award in 2020. \nSarah Linley lives in West Yorkshire and works as a Communications Manager for a housing charity in Bradford. \nShe spent two years backpacking around South-East Asia with her husband. Their travels inspired her debut novel\, The Beach.
