DESCRIPTION:The Friends of Marsden Library AGM will take place on Monday 19th October 2026 at 6.45 pm in Marsden Library. \nAgenda\nMinutes of the 2025 AGM\nAnnual Report 2025 – 2026\nFinancial Report 2025-2026 \nPrinted copies of the above may also be consulted in the Library. \nVacancies for Steering Group Members  \nThere are also vacancies for members of the Steering Group.  \nWe are a registered charity that aims to support the continuation of a public library service in Marsden.  We do this by:  \n\nSupporting the recruitment and retention of volunteers \nCampaigning when the library is under threat \nPromoting the value of a public library service to individuals and the community by: \nOrganising activities such as author readings \nFundraising by producing an annual calendar \nPublicising events and providing information via our website and social media \n\nThe steering group meets on the 3rd Monday of the month in the library for 1 hour at 6.45pm  \nWe are looking for people who can contribute to organising the above activities.  \nIf you are interested in joining us\, you can attend our AGM\, or get in touch by email on friendsofmarsdenlibrary@gmail.com.  \n
