DESCRIPTION:Join us for the latest in our Local Writers Reading series when author Chris Longden will be reading from A Cuckoo in the Chocolate – the sequel to Mind Games and Ministers\, and due out later on this year.  Both books are best described as ‘light-hearted northern fiction – with a strong social message.’ \nChris Longden is from Dukinfield and moved to Namibia in 2003\, where she lived and worked with the Kalahari Bushmen – producing two books about them. DESCRIPTION:Tim Taylor is the latest local author to take part in our Local Writers Reading series. \nJoin us on 29th June to hear Tim read from is two published novels: Revolution Day\, a political thriller about an ageing Latin American dictator\, losing his grip as his vice-President plots against him; and Zeus of Ithome\, a historical novel set in ancient Greece\, about the struggle of the Messenian people to free themselves from slavery. \nTim Taylor was born in Stoke on Trent\, but has lived in Meltham since 2001.
