Tim Taylor is the latest local author to take part in our Local Writers Reading series.
Join us on 29th June to hear Tim read from is two published novels: Revolution Day, a political thriller about an ageing Latin American dictator, losing his grip as his vice-President plots against him; and Zeus of Ithome, a historical novel set in ancient Greece, about the struggle of the Messenian people to free themselves from slavery.
Tim Taylor was born in Stoke on Trent, but has lived in Meltham since 2001. Formerly a civil servant, he now divides his time between creative writing and academic research/teaching in philosophy at the University of Leeds. As well as fiction, Tim writes poetry and non-fiction. He also likes playing the guitar (sometimes in public) and walking up hills.
