Join us for an evening with local crime fiction author, Dave Rigby, for the latest from his Harry Vos series, plus an introduction to his new creation, DI ‘Mac’ Larsen.

Dave will talk about his two new books, ‘End of the Line’ and ‘Mac’.

‘End of the Line’ is the third book in the Harry Vos, Belgian private investigator series and is set mainly in the German-speaking area in the east of the country. Harry has a habit of getting involved in cases that are far from run-off-the-mill and he finds himself caught up in an investigation involving smuggled artworks and artefacts.

In contrast, Detective Inspector Larsen – known as Mac – is part of the Peripatetic Investigation Team based in Edinburgh. When a body is found on a spoil heap, south of the city, Mac’s investigation takes him on a trail which leads into a complex and dangerous world of laser-armed drone development.

Dave will talk about both books, their contrasting settings and what makes a good investigator.
