Award-winning Marsden-based poet Jo Haslam reads from her fifth collection, “When Auntie Was a Crow”. Jo will be joined by Lincolnshire poet Lynda Plater who will read from her second publication “Saving Fruit”.

Music by the Rossignol String Quartet.

Paintings and prints by artists Markita Hayward and Sammy Palfrey.

Marsden-based poet Jo Haslam successful in several national and international poetry competitions has published five volumes of poetry, her latest collection published in 2024 is available from Pindrop Press.

Lincolnshire poet Lynda Plater won the Frogmore Poetry Prize in 2023. Both poets were successful in the 2024 Guernsey International Literature Festival.

Rossignal String Quartet will perform musical written and played by them for their debut Royal Albert Hall Concert.

Markita Hayward is a mixed media artist currently using collage, acrylics and drawing in her imaginatively themed work. Sammy Palfrey is a professional visual artist, painter and printmaker who has exhibited in London and Yorkshire.
