Local Writers Reading: Jo Stanley

In our first non-fiction Local Writers Reading event, we welcome Dr Jo Stanley.
Jo is a consultant in Maritime History, specialising in women who went to sea, and she will be reading from her new book, ‘From Cabin ‘Boys’ to Captains: 250 years of women at sea’.
Join us to explore this fascinating topic in Marsden Library on Wednesday 26th October at 7.30pm.
Pay on the door: £5 (£3), including refreshments.
All funds raised through Friends of Marsden Library activity contribute to the Library Re-Design appeal. Attendance at events in Marsden Library helps to support the Library.
