We were delighted to get our previously-regular series of author events in the Library back up and running.

After a runaway success of Rob Vincent’s talk on the landscape of the Colne Valley, we were delighted to host Tim Taylor’s launch of his second poetry collection, ‘Lifetimes’, which is published with Marsden’s own imprint, Maytree Press.

Amanda Huggins and Sarah Linley in Marsden Library

Next up, we had Amanda Huggins and Sarah Linley reading from their latest fiction.

In ‘Crossing the Lines’, Amanda has expanded “Red”, the story which was a runner-up in the Costa Short Story Awards 2018, so if you were one of the many readers who wanted to know what happened next, this is for you.
